There are many statutory regulations which place responsibility on employers, landlords, construction site managers and institutions. The regulations state that you must provide a safe working environment for anyone who would be using portable electrical appliances.
The list of portable appliances is literally endless however, at a glance if the appliance can be unplugged from the electrical supply then it is more than likely needs to be PAT tested.
